“A chief! A chief!”

“I ought to be chief,” said Jack with simple arrogance, “because I’m chapter chorister and head boy. I can sing C sharp.”
This enhances my learning experience because this quote tells you who wants to lead everybody. It also shows that Jack can be quite a jerk. Ralph becomes chief because he is the best looking and the fairest.
I think that Ralph would be just fine in the world today because he is always thinking and is being productive. Just like when some kids are fighting and he gets them to help out to build a fire to create a signal on the island. I think he would be just fine today

The character Piggy in Lord of the Flies seems like a character that is in many kinds of books and movies. For example, the character Tommy Calahan in the comedy, Tommy Boy can relate to Piggy. They are both large people that always find a way to embarass themselves because of their naturally clumsy mind. In Lord of the Flies, all of the children are always laughing at Piggy and in Tommy Boy, all of the other characters in the movie are always laughing at Tommy.

One character that like is Piggy because hes his fat and very clumsy. He is always getting laughed at by all of the other characters in the book, mainly because his name is Piggy. There really is no point for Piggy to use $100 because he's on a remote island wiht a bunch of other kids, but if he was in his home country, he would probably use the money to buy chocolate and candy. I got a picture of a sea conch because Ralph and some of the other kids are trying to blow into it and make a really loud noise.

The book I chose  is Lord of the Flies by William Golding. Right when I spotted this book, I knew I would chose it because I always wanted to read this book. About six years ago, my dad was watching this movie and he said that I should read this book some point in high school.  The book sounds interesting because everybody in the book are kids and apparently this is a classic book. The book cover looks very artistic and interesting.
